About

As far back as I can remember I have had a great appreciation for art, architecture and design. From visiting English castles and stately homes and having family who are keen gardeners, watching African textiles and beadwork being created to experiencing magical Japanese culture and architecture, my experiences have molded me as an artist and designer.

As a prior military spouse, I understand the need to move at a moment’s notice. The challenges my husband and I faced during his 20 year enlistment, as homeowners and landlords, have provided me with the knowledge and tools to be effective in preparing homes for sale and rent. Having sold our home quickly during a time of much competition and understanding the value of home staging, I furthered my education to become a home stager.

“An Englishman’s home is his castle” as the saying goes, and so it is true of mine. When I am not designing or staging for others, I am making changes to my own home and garden, which keeps me out of mischief. Family and friends are always intrigued by “the latest project”. One day I will have done everything I aspire to do here, and then it may be time to move again!

Like many a self-respecting artist, I have a husband that is eager (well, perhaps not that eager, but certainly willing) to bring my designs to life. Whether it be woodwork, concrete, or constructing furniture, he has the ability to translate my sketches and ideas into beautiful works of art – so my thanks to him for his perseverance and talent.

When it comes to lesser strenuous activities I enjoy painting (on canvas, not walls!), gardening, creating hypertufa planters, and more recently creating Zentangle Art.  Visit www.harmonyinspiredart.com for more information.

Harmony is not a buzz word used to create a business, but exemplifies to how I strive to live. Harmony Interiors was founded on the ideal of bringing tranquility and harmony into the lives of my clients, whether they are buying selling, or simply staying put.
